Mikael Cadiou
When he was 16 years old he took the first prize at the national academy of music of Nantes. He started his professional career as a dancer in France, Sweden and in the U.S.A. He works with many companies, for example with the Ballet du Nord and the American Ballet Theatre of New York. After some years, during a journey in Buenos Aires, he became very keen on dancing the tango and he learnt it from the most clever argentine teachers. Subsequently he will demonstrate his own experience through the staging of performances and teaching. You have to notice his participation as a tango dancer to the Gotan Project and Ute Lemper’s video clips.

 

Maura Laudicina
Was born in Palermo where she doesn’t live permanently. She took her degree in Philosophy with an experimental thesis about cinema and time. In 1996 she had moved to France for two years, where she studied cinema and theatre and started dancing tango with Pablo Veròn.
She is an actress, a producer and a pupil of the Living Theatre; since her childhood she has studied classical ballet with Rita Ingrassia, Aurino and Beltrame; contemporary dance with Gloria Pomardi, afro-dance with Zoi do Nascimento and flamenco with Clara Congera. She is a journalist and writes for Repubblica; she devotes herself to the writing for the cinema and for the theatre.
During these last years she has specialized into tango with Osvaldo Roldàn and Monica Maria, Claudia Codega and Esteban Moreno, Geraldine Rojas and Javier Rodriguez, Tete, Aurora Lubiz and Jorge Firpo, Roberto Reis, Juan Carlos Copes, Eduardo and Gloria Arquimbao, Mingo and Esther Pugliese, Sergio Cortazzo and Gachi Fernandez, Carlos Rivarola, Julio Balmaceda y Corina de la Rosa.
Becoming very keen on the dynamics of the Tango Nuevo, she specialized into it with Gustavo Naveira, Giselle Anne, Fabian Salas and Carolina del Rivero, Chicho Frumboli and Eugenia Parrilla, also with Pablo Villaraza, Dana Frigoli and Pablo Veron.
She is devoted to the cinema and the theatre. Her last production is "La Selva Oscura" in 2005, a documentary that tell about the tango and the argentine dictatorship in 1970.
This film was presented in a worldwide preview in Buenos Aires on September 6th, at the milonga of Salon Canning.
